If you answer yes to either, this free course has been designed for you. It provides local sports club volunteers with the practical skills to promote their clubs more effectively – and raise their visibility online and offline.
What’s covered:
• Creating professional-quality video and photography content
• Managing club social media (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp)
• Using Canva to create eye-catching posts, flyers, posters, reels & more
• Building / improving a simple club website
• Writing clear, confident messages about the club
• Campaign ideas to grow membership and support
• AI references to show how it can fit into promotions (authentically)
Who it’s for:
• Volunteers from any type of sports club, especially:
• Small or community-run clubs
• Clubs with limited funds and resources
• Anyone doing club communications with little or no formal training

Sports club volunteers do A LOT! This course not only teaches you how to promote your club, it links you to a group of people managing the same types of challenges in a club setting. Previous groups have shared tips, ideas and support to help each other out.
Format: 5 sessions (2 in-person + 3 online)

NO QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
You just need to be comfortable using your smartphone or laptop. The training sessions are paced to suit different levels of experience with technology.
