Suspects Softball

 Soft Ball

History of Club:  The Club started in 1996 and we have 2 teams.  The Usual Suspects which are a Division 1 team and the Deadly Suspects which are a Division 3 team.

Softball:  Softball is a bat and ball team sport like both rounders and baseball played in the summer months from April to mid-September. “Soft” refers not to the condition of the ball (which is very hard), but to the underarm throw in which it is pitched to the batter, which means that games are faster-paced than baseball and more action-packed. Softball is a unique and engaging sport that is perfect for all ages (over 16s) and skill levels.

Play and Train:  We play in Marlay Park on Monday and Wednesday evenings from April to September and train on Sunday mornings.   We play all over Dublin, St Anns Park, Standaway Park, Castleknock, Blackrock.  We also join in Tournaments held in Cork, Galway and Belfast.
