The sessions are adapted for the needs of all players\, and every player is given time and attention to master new skills and improve on existing ones. \n  \nWe have a lovely group of mentors who lead the sessions\, and parents are also very welcome to stay for the session and watch (or join in the fun!) if they wish. \n  \nTraining takes place on Monday nights\, 6-7pm\, indoors from November to March\, and outdoors from April to October on the Ballinteer Community School all-weather pitch. \n  \nWe welcome new members all year round\, so if you are curious and would like to come along to try out a session\, we would love to hear from you!

Whether you’re just starting out\, women’s mountain biking offers an opportunity connect with nature while learning new skills. It is a great workout that gets you out in nature and allows you to explore new places. This introduction to Mountain Biking is aimed at women & girls (over 16yrs). It’s also a fun and exciting way to build self-confidence and develop a sense of independence\, meet new people and build a supportive community. A very rewarding experience that offers both physical and mental benefits. \nCost: €15.00 \nHow will it work \nThis is a gentle introduction to mountain biking with some trail riding and an introduction to the basic skills\, ideal for newcomers to the sport. \n\nGuided tour\, approx. 7km\nBike set up\nRiding position\nGear usage\nBraking techniques\nQuestion and answer throughout\n\nTerrain \nThe skills are practiced in wide open spaces as we make our way around the blue grade trails.
