DESCRIPTION:Founded in 2019\, the Ballinteer St Johns GAA All Stars is an inclusive team that supports and welcomes players of all ages with additional needs. \n  \nOur players learn skills through modified games and interaction\, and have a lot of fun along the way. The sessions are adapted for the needs of all players\, and every player is given time and attention to master new skills and improve on existing ones. \n  \nWe have a lovely group of mentors who lead the sessions\, and parents are also very welcome to stay for the session and watch (or join in the fun!) if they wish. \n  \nTraining takes place on Monday nights\, 6-7pm\, indoors from November to March\, and outdoors from April to October on the Ballinteer Community School all-weather pitch. \n  \nWe welcome new members all year round\, so if you are curious and would like to come along to try out a session\, we would love to hear from you!

DESCRIPTION:4 week Inclusive Kayaking for people with Visual Impairment & companions\nEvent Details: \nDún Laoghaire-Rathdown Sports Partnership is delighted to partner with the Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School to deliver a 4-week Inclusive Kayaking Programme for people with visual impairment & their campanions. \n📍Where: West Pier Wipeout\, Coal Harbour\n📅When Wednesday 19th of August 2026 to 9th of September\n⏰ Tiem 6:30pm – 8:30pm (please arrive 15 minutes early) \n€ Cost: €20.00 (for the 4 weeks. This covers both the participant & companion) \nSuitable for: people with visual impairment and their campanions \nThe programme offers participants the opportunity to experience kayaking in a safe\, supportive\, and enjoyable environment. \nTo ensure accessibility and confidence on the water\, participants will paddle in double kayaks alongside a companion or guide\, allowing you to enjoy the experience together. With 10 double kayaks on the water each session\, participants will benefit from expert instruction\, tailored support\, and the chance to develop their paddling skills while enjoying time outdoors. \nWhether you are new to kayaking or looking to get back on the water\, this programme provides a fun and inclusive opportunity to build confidence\, stay active\, and connect with others. \nJoin us for an exciting and enjoyable time on the water! The sessions are adapted for the needs of all players\, and every player is given time and attention to master new skills and improve on existing ones. \n  \nWe have a lovely group of mentors who lead the sessions\, and parents are also very welcome to stay for the session and watch (or join in the fun!) if they wish. \n  \nTraining takes place on Monday nights\, 6-7pm\, indoors from November to March\, and outdoors from April to October on the Ballinteer Community School all-weather pitch. \n  \nWe welcome new members all year round\, so if you are curious and would like to come along to try out a session\, we would love to hear from you!
