DESCRIPTION:Celebrate European Week of Sport with a night of exploration\, active challenges and family fun at Explorium. \n\n\n\n\n#BeActive Night @ Explorium – Move\, Play\, Explore! \n#BeActive Night is a vibrant celebration that encourages people of all ages to get moving\, have fun\, and discover new ways to be active. As one of the highlight events of the European Week of Sport\, it promotes physical activity\, wellbeing\, and healthy lifestyles across Europe. \nFollowing the success of last year’s event\, we are delighted to return to Explorium for the second year running to host #BeActive Night 2026. \nJoin us on Saturday 26th September from 6.00pm to 8.30pm at Explorium\, Ireland’s National Sport and Science Centre\, for an evening packed with exploration\, learning\, games\, challenges\, and active fun for all ages. \nTicketing \nYour ticket includes access to “come & try” Explorium’s interactive exhibits and activity areas\, offering the perfect opportunity to move\, play\, discover\, and experience the exciting connection between science\, sport\, and physical activity. \n*Visitors with special needs may bring one accompanying carer free of charge. Simply select the carer ticket\, along with any other ticket types. Please note this is not a confirmed ticket. Proof is required on the day for entry. Please bring documentation or ID confirming the need for a carer. \n**All tickets must be booked in advance\, tickets will not be available at the door. \nVenue Areas & Age Guidance \nJunior Zone \nRecommended for children aged 2-7 years\, although older siblings are welcome to join in if families wish to stay together. We kindly ask older children to be mindful of younger visitors using the space. Children under 2 may visit the area but must be supervised by an adult at all times. \nScience Area \nRecommended for ages 8+\, including adults. Younger children are welcome with adult supervision; however\, some exhibits may be more suitable for older children due to their content or accessibility. \nActivities Zone \nA range of exciting physical challenges and activities will be available throughout the evening. \nUrban Climbing: Participants must be at least 1 metre tall and weigh a minimum of 25kg. \nConquer Your Fears: Participants must be 10 years or older. \nWhy Attend? \n✅ Explore Ireland’s National Sport and Science Centre \n✅ Enjoy hands-on science and activity experiences \n✅ Get active with family and friends \n✅ Discover new ways to move and play \n✅ Celebrate the European Week of Sport in a fun and unique setting \nRefund Policy \nRefunds will only be issued up to 48 hours before the event.
