DESCRIPTION:History Walk along The Metals to the Peoples Park in Dun Laoghaire. Open to all ages and abilities. \n\n\n\n\nJoin local historian Rob Goodbody for an inclusive\, accessible and engaging history walk. Suitable for ages 14+ and open to all abilities. \nWe will meet at the Victoria Fountain in Dún Laoghaire on Sunday 12 July at 3:00 PM. The walk will be relaxed and easy-paced\, with stops along the route to explore key historical points\, finishing at the People’s Park. This section will take approximately 30–45 minutes. \nParticipants who wish to continue can join an extended walk along the scenic East Pier\, offering stunning coastal views. \nWhether you’re easing into physical activity or simply looking to enjoy a gentle\, history-filled stroll\, this walk is for you. \nRob Goodbody will lead the walk\, supported by staff to ensure a safe\, welcoming\, and enjoyable experience for all. \nWhen: Saturday 12th July \nMeeting at : Victoria Fountain (across from Hartleys Restaurant\, Dun Laoghaire) \nTime: 3.00pm \nCost: FREE
